The Church of the Good Shepherd
Architect: Benjamin Woolfield Mountfort
The foundation stone was laid on Tuesday, October 28, 1884 and the nave was consecrated on Sunday, May 31, 1885.

The new Church of the Good Shepherd, Phillipstown, is so near completion that it will probably be consecrated in two or three weeks. The fabric of the building is finished. The windows, of cathedral glass, have just been received from England, and are now being put in. The furniture is also to hand, and will be placed in the church shortly.
