Margaret Ann Dobbin nee Shaw
Margaret Ann Shaw was born about 1873 and married John Dobbin about 1892. They had four known children, Sarah Ellen Dobbin in 1892, William Dobbin in 1893, John Ernest Dobbin in 1894 and Thomas Alexander Dobbin in 1897.
The eldest son William Dobbin died aged 2 months and the daughter Sarah Ellen Dobbin died in 1911 aged 19 years. John Ernest Dobbin died in 1947 and Thomas Alexander Dobbin died in 1973.
Margaret who lived at one time in Ashburton died in 1925 aged 52 years and her husband died on 24 January 1939 aged 75 years. They are buried in Ashburton Cemetery with their son William.
