all drowned on 29 April 1881 in the sinking of S.S. Tararua. One of their female servants also died.
Sadly it can be reported that the obelisk erected at Addington Cemetery, Christchurch to remember the Campbells was toppled in the 2010 earthquake which hit Christchurch.
